“Drive-thru and walk-in customers lined up to get tested for free and were processed quickly and efficiently by a large staff of medical professionals. No appointments were required and wait times were short,” Board of Chosen Freeholder Chair Anthony Vainieri (D-8) wrote on Facebook.
“The site is located in the Bruin Stadium parking lot and is open Monday, Thursday, and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. Testing is free for North Bergen residents, with no out-of-pocket cost or insurance co-pay.”
State Senator (D-32)/Mayor Nick Sacco and the board of commissioners helped launch the mobile testing site in conjunction with FastMedNJ.
There are two other coronavirus testing sites in North Bergen: one at the Diligent Medical Care located at 3725 Liberty Ave. and the other at the AM/PM Walk-in Urgent Care Clinic at 7405 Bergenline Ave.
The Liberty Avenue testing center is open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and an appointment can be scheduled by calling 201-834-8887 or texting “COVID” to 973-447-3559.
Furthermore, the urgent care center is open from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. and a test can be scheduled by calling 201-636-6763.
