North Bergen driving instructor, 68, charged with groping student, 17, in Secaucus


A 68-year-old North Bergen driving instructor has been charged with groping a 17-year-old student in Secaucus last week, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

Roberto Ormeno, 68, of North Bergen, was charged with criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

On June 21st at 11:30 a.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division in relation to an incident of criminal sexual contact that occurred on June 17th when he was giving a lesson to a 17-year-old student, noted Miller.

Ormeno was taken into custody at Secaucus Police Headquarters, located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road, issued his complaint summons, and released from police custody.
