A man was apprehended by the Jersey City police after stabbing two men on Duncan Avenue yesterday afternoon, an official said.

Michael Robinson, 38, of Jersey City, was charged with two counts of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon, according to city spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione.

The alleged actor attacked two males with a black folding utility knife at about 4:20 p.m. near 181 Duncan Ave. yesterday.

A 52-year-old man sustained two stab wounds to the side of his abdomen and a 45-year-old man sustained one stab wound to his back. Both victims were taken to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition, she said.

Additionally, a neighbors told HCV that they saw a Good Samaritan chase the actor down and subdued him briefly before the police arrived on the scene.
