LETTER: Don’t miss the Bayonne Memorial Day Parade on Monday morning

0

In a letter to the editor, Bayonne resident Michael Embrich reminds residents not to miss the local Memorial Day Parade on Monday morning.

Dear Editor,

The Bayonne Memorial Day Parade is a historic event in our town. For more than 100 years, Veterans from World War I to present day, including Medal of Honor recipients, have marched to honor those who have fallen.

Please join us for this important showing of support. Our Veterans have served our country and represented Bayonne proudly; take this opportunity to acknowledge their service.

The parade steps off at 10:30am from 5th Street and Broadway and ends at 32nd Street and Broadway. A wreath laying ceremony at the World War I Monument at 5th
Street and Dodge Street will be held beforehand at 10am.

Thank you for your continued support of the Veterans Community.

Michael Embrich
Bayonne resident
