We can only hope that Steve Firestone can instill common sense with others of like mind on the City Council to temper the large tax increases Emily Jabbour backed for eight years that Ravi Bhalla proposed.
There’s little expectation Emily Jabbour will do anything different from Ravi’s spendthrift ways. She talks about people asking for “more services,” whatever that means. There’s always people coming with demands in Hoboken. Nothing new.
She’s surrounded by the worse of Ravi and they are crowing already for their overpaid City Hall jobs. Jabbour claimed she is not Ravi 2.0. She may be right. She may be more of the same and worse.
