Hudson Regional Hospital has announced the rebrand of all four of their hospitals, eight months after they reached a deal to run CarePoint Health’s three facilities.

HRH now officially includes the Secaucus University Hospital (formerly HRH), Bayonne University Hospital (formerly Bayonne Medical Center), the Hoboken University Hospital (formerly Hoboken University Medical Center), and The Heights University (formerly Christ Hospital).
“This isn’t just a rebrand—it’s a redefinition of care in Hudson County. Hudson Regional Health is now one of the largest and fastest-growing systems in the state, and we’re using that momentum to bring real innovation to our communities,” HRH Chair Yan Moshe said in a statement.
“From AI-powered diagnostics to modern emergency care, we’re building hospitals that deliver on the full promise of technology-driven care.”
Together, these facilities serve as the backbone of a dynamic healthcare network comprising more than 5,000 employees, 1,500 affiliated physicians, and a unified mission to deliver consistent, connected, and cutting-edge care across Hudson County and beyond.
“Our goal isn’t just growth—it’s transformation,” added HRH CEO and President Dr. Nizar Kifaieh.
“We’re building a system where innovation is standard, where care is seamless across facilities, and where every advancement—from robotic surgery to real-time monitoring—translates into better outcomes for our patients. That’s the promise behind Hudson Regional Health.”
HRH had been pursuing the BMC in particular since June 2020, but after a long journey that included plenty of expensive litigation and extensive political maneuvering, a deal was reached to form Hudson Health System in October – the second try for such an endeavor.
Shortly thereafter, at the beginning of November, CarePoint filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy to help secure $67 million in financing.
They have since decided to abandon the Hudson Health System name in favor of their original namesake based out of Secaucus.

So, in other words, it’s just another rebrand *eyeroll*
Just a marketing gimmick to hide certain things under a “new bright horizon of hope”.
