Hudson political leaders give passionate speeches at Hispanic Heritage Month celebration


Hudson County hosted a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month at the Justice William Brennan Courthouse in Jersey City.

The celebration showcased a mix of Hispanic culture, including opera, poetry, and dance. In addition, the event honored numerous public figures from Hudson County’s Hispanic community for their work, and featured multiple elected officials speaking passionately about their Hispanic roots – including Assemblyman Carmelo Garcia, Freeholder E. Junior Maldonado, and Bayonne Councilman Juan Perez.
