Hudson County Schools of Technology opens registration for GED, certification classes

The Hudson County Schools of Technology has opened their registration for GED classes for those looking to obtain their high school diploma, as well as certification classes in various fields.

“Our team is committed to helping students of all ages achieve academic success through hands on learning experiences,” said HCST Director of Career and Technical Education Alicia Abraham.

“The Hudson County Schools of Technology’s Post Secondary program provides Hudson County residents a unique opportunity to acquire new skills and advance their careers. Our mission is to foster a supportive learning environment for students to thrive attaining individual educational goals.”

The courses being offered include auto and construction trades, technology, business, cosmetology, culinary, along with medical and professional advancement programs.

Registration is now open, Monday through Thursday, between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Earl W. Byrd Center located on 525 Montgomery St. in Jersey City.

Additionally, a district catalog with program information is always available online at
www.HCSTonline.org, as well as on site at campuses and satellite locations including Bayonne, Harrison, Jersey City and Secaucus.
