“Rob is committed to moving the Black community forward,” Assemblywoman Angela McKnight (D-31), the president of the HCBC.
“We enthusiastically endorse Rob Menendez because it is clear that his values and platform on affordable housing, fair wages, and reducing student loan debt squarely align with the HCBC, and will positively impact Hudson County residents.”
Menendez, a Port Authority commissioner, an attorney, and the son of U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), is the odds on favorite to succeed U.S. Rep. Albio Sires on Tuesday.
His chief opposition, Republican nominee Marcos Arroyo, does not have any active social media pages and has not filed any campaign finance reports for the race.
