Hoboken welcomes 3 new cops, 1 new firefighter at joint ceremony

Three Hoboken police officers, as well as a firefighter, were sworn into their respective departments during a joint ceremony at City Hall on Friday afternoon.

Mayor Dawn Zimmer offered heavy praise for the continued efforts of the Mile Square City’s first responders at the event.

Shortly thereafter, City Clerk Jimmy Farina swore in three new police officers: Connor Milne, Ryan Houghton and Fabian Quinones.

Next, Benny Rotondi, Jr. was sworn in as the latest member of the Hoboken Fire Department.

Before calling it a day, Fire Chief Anton Peskens and Police Chief Kenneth Ferrante said a few words about their new employees.
