The Hoboken Police Department, with the assistance of the Hudson County Regional SWAT, made the arrest of a barricade suspect after approximately four hours this morning.

“At approximately 4 a.m. today, Feb. 27, 2025, Hoboken Police responded to reports of a domestic related incident at the Neumann Leather Building, 300 Observer Highway,
public safety spokeswoman Marci Rubin told HCV.
“One individual barricaded himself inside the building. Hudson County SWAT responded to assist Hoboken Police. At approximately 8:10 a.m., the individual was safely taken into custody and all roads that had been closed during the response were reopened.”
The Hoboken PD posted on X at 6:47 a.m. this morning that Willow Avenue from Newark to Observer Highway was closed until further notice, which ended up being approximately 8:26 a.m.
“The general public was never in danger due to this incident, as it was isolated to one building. The Hoboken Police Department would like to thank residents for their cooperation and patience,” Rubin added.
