The opening of the Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center marks the next step in the growing partnership between CarePoint Health and Saint Peter’s Healthcare System.

“I am thrilled to be celebrating the opening of the Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center, which will undoubtedly make a profound impact on the lives of countless children and families in Hudson County,” CarePoint Health President and CEO Dr. Achintya Moulick said in a statement.

“This facility stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of Dr. Patel, whose contributions to the field of pediatric medicine will forever be remembered. We are also grateful for the partnership with Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, as we collectively strive to provide the highest standard of care to our communities. Children are our greatest resource and building a healthier future depends on us caring for them. CarePoint is dedicated to serving the children of Hudson County.”

The center offers a wide range of medical services, ensuring that young patients receive the most advanced treatments and care available.

“In his distinguished career, the late Dr. Bipin Patel was a prolific clinician, leader, educator, and humanitarian. Time and time again, the connections he made with patients, colleagues, and healthcare leaders in New Jersey, and around the world, sparked not only interest but action,” added Saint Peter’s Healthcare System President and CEO Dr Leslie D. Hirsch, FACHE, said in a statement.

“As chair of the Department of Pediatrics and physician-in-chief for The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital, Dr. Patel was a driving force behind the development of what has grown into one of the most comprehensive and highly respected children’s programs in New Jersey. His passion for improving access to high-quality health care for children drove him to share his visionary knowledge and ideas with so many. The creation of The Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center at Hoboken University Medical Center is one such example and we are extremely proud that his legacy lives on here.”

The event was attended by Hoboken Council President Emily Jabbour, Assemblyman Raj Mukherji (D-33), County Commissioners Chair Anthony Romano (D-5), Moulick, Hirsch, and other local and hospital officials.

“The importance of quality pediatric care cannot be overstated, particularly in urban areas with vulnerable patient populations,” noted Mukherji, also the Democratic nominee for state Senator of the new 32nd Legislative District.

“I applaud Hoboken University Medical Center and Saint Peter’s University Hospital on this collaboration, which will expand access to world class children’s care in our region.”

The Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center is located within the HUMC, located at 308 Willow Ave., in Hoboken.

“Hoboken parents should always feel that they can obtain the care that their children need without having to travel outside of our community, and The Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center at HUMC will ensure that this is the case. On behalf of Mayor Bhalla and my fellow City Council members, I welcome this important new health care destination to our city,” noted Jabbour.

“As a lifelong Hoboken resident I have always had a strong association with Hoboken University Medical Center, and I’m ecstatic to see the progress that this institution continues to make under the leadership of Dr. Moulick and his team with new advances like the The Dr. Bipin Patel Pediatric Multispecialty Center,” stated Romano.
