The former U.S. Secretary of State is aiming to raise big bucks for Menendez on October 15th, with ticket prices to the high profile event ranging from $500 to $5,400 per person, according to a copy of the invitation.

The contributions will be going to the Menendez Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Menendez for Senate, the New Jersey Democratic State Committee and the New Millennium PAC.

Despite being heavily favored, Clinton was defeated by Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential race and Menendez hopes to avoid another upset at Democrats across the country battle for control of the Senate on November 6th.

Seeking a third term, Menendez faces a game opponent in Bob Hugin, a U.S. Marine and former CEO at pharmaceutical giant Celgene.

The race has been a particularly vicious one, with Hugin, who has invested millions of dollars into his campaign, relentlessly attacking the incumbent over his corruption trial that ended in a hung jury last year.

Menendez has mostly countered by attacking Hugin over his “greedy” record of inflating the prices of cancer drugs in order for him to make a personal profit.

Recent polls have Hugin within striking distance, a rarity given that New Jerseyans haven’t elected a Republican to the U.S. Senate since 1972.
