During the course of the June 18th investigation, more than 180 grams of suspected cocaine, over three pounds of suspected marijuana, multiple quantities of Alprazolam and Oxycodone pills and more than $3,000 cash from suspected narcotics transactions were recovered, Prosecutor Esther Suarez said in a statement.

During the course of the investigation, numerous transactions were conducted with an undercover officer which included the sale of illegal narcotics and an illegal firearm.

Giovanny Alfaro, 29, and Jamie Juarez-Castillo, 23, both of Bayonne, were arrested without incident at a residence on Avenue C.

Alfaro is charged with six separate counts of possession with the intent to distribute (cocaine), two counts of conspiracy to distribute (cocaine), four counts of possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance within 1,000 feet of a school,
four counts of possession with the intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of public property, along with possession and distribution charges for marijuana, Oxycodone, and Alprazolam, weapons offense, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and money laundering.

Juarez-Castillo faces nearly identical charges, though is not facing as many cocaine possession and distribution offenses.

Suarez credited the HCPO NTF and the Bayonne Police Department with the investigation and arrests.
