“The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit & NBPD are investigating a hit-and-run collision on Kennedy Blvd & 26th Street in North Bergen in which a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries,” HCPO tweeted at 8:48 p.m.

“The driver of a dark compact vehicle fled the scene. More info to follow.”

This is the second serious hit-and-run the HCPO has publicized in the past 36 hours, with a two-vehicle crash at Old Bergen Ave and Greenville Road in Jersey City leaving at least one person seriously hurt yesterday.

No further information was immediately available, but this story will be updated when more details are released.
