Guttenberg police promote 3, including new deputy chief, 8 new officers join ranks

The Guttenberg Police Department promoted three officers, including naming a new deputy chief, with eight new officers – five of which are special officers – joining the ranks.

At a ceremony at the Ana L. Klein Elementary School on Monday, Det. Patrick Giannini was promoted to sergeant, Sgt. Steven Diaz became a lieutenant, and Lt. Frank Pelaez earned the rank of deputy chief, the department announced on social media.

Additionally, Frank Dubicki, Jr., Jhon Gutierrez, and Elias Pianto were sworn in as police officers and Kamil Lis, Andy Reynoso, Favio Cruz, Xavier Delgado, and Dariel Vialet are now special police officers.

“The Guttenberg Police Department would like to to congratulate all the officers who were promoted and sworn in earlier this evening,” they wrote on Facebook.

“We also would like to thank the Mayor and Town Council for their unwavering support of the Guttenberg Police Department.”

  1. It goes to show you that when you kiss the ass of Mayor Zitt it goes everywhere . Mayor Zitt is garbage he’s too busy trying to get into every girl in his office pants, which he did . The guy doesn’t know anything about loyalty . You use people and when your done lying to them and getting everything out them you then you just throw them away like dirt . I hope you go to jail soon that’s right town people know what you did and it won’t go away , scumbag .
