The ticketed breakfast will be held on Monday, April 14th, at Hudson County Community College Culinary Arts Center located at 161 Newkirk St. in Jersey City. To register, visit hudsonchamber.org/events or call 201-386-0699, the group announced.
A former President Bill Clinton speechwriter and Microsoft executive, Gottheimer is one of six Democrats seeking the governor’s seat in the June 10th.
He will discuss his priorities for economic growth and take questions from the business community at next week’s event.
The event is part of the chamber’s Meet the Candidates Series, where they invite all major candidates for New Jersey Governor through its Employer Legislative Committee (ELC).
At each Hudson County ELC meeting, legislators, cabinet members, or local officials discuss important issues pertinent to business.
Thus far, the chamber of commerce has hosted Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop, former state Senate President Steve Sweeney, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and New Jersey Education Association President Sean Spiller.
U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-11) rounds out the Democrat field of candidates seeking to succeed Gov. Phil Murphy (D), who is term limited from running again.

Perhaps Congressman Gottheimer can ask President Netanyahu how many more Palestinians have to be killed and how much more Palestinian territory has to be taken by Israeli ‘settlers’ before its ethnic and religious cleansing of fellow semites stop.
