Republican gubernatorial nominee Jack Ciattarelli is set to fundraise at the W Hotel in Hoboken next week in an event co-hosted by the county and municipal GOP.

The event will take place at the Halifax in the W Hotel in Hoboken on September 15th from 7 p.m. until 9p.m.

Hudson County GOP Chair Jose Arango and Hoboken Municipal GOP Chair Joseph Branco are co-hosting the event, where ticket prices start at $150 a piece.

“This event is a great opportunity for Hudson County residents to show their support for Jack and engage with him directly to learn more about his platform and work together to get New Jersey back on the right track,” they said in a joint statement.

Joshua Sotomayor-Einstein, who unsuccessfully challenged both Arango and Branco earlier this year, has drawn the ire of the Republican duo for promoting the event, causing him to be sent a cease and desist letter and be told he is not welcome to attend.

He has not said whether or not he will be attending, but said he has no regrets about asking Republicans to come out and support Ciattarelli.

“It is infantile that Arango and Branco could not appreciate that I was publicizing a fundraiser for our GOP gubernatorial candidate. Every Republican should be spreading the word about every GOP event to their network of people, otherwise we won’t flip New Jersey red,” he said.

Ciattarelli is challenging Gov. Phil Murphy (D) in the November 2nd general election.
