“We believe in giving every young person the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances, and we are committed to fostering an environment where all youth can feel empowered, valued, and supported,” Community Lifestyle CEO/Founder Louis Quinones said in a statement
“This fundraiser ensures to all donors that every dollar goes to the kids in its entirety. Our development team has worked tirelessly to solicit donors at every level to maximize all dollars brought to us by our fundraising activities.”
Their annual fundraiser is critical for the organization, they said, since they have spearheaded several new initiatives in 2025, such as opening a safe space called “The Center.”
This is a space where youth and teens can gather to facilitate after school learning and homework along with participating in regular creative activities.
The walk-in gala starts at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday and is encouraging attendees to match the theme of the event (heroes).
This evening also features an open bar, hors d’oeuvres and catered treats from local establishments, a silent auction, music, and dancing until 9:30 p.m.
Tickets, which can be purchased in advance here, are $85 each, with all proceeds going towards the nonprofit.
Additionally, the silent auction will feature donations from local businesses and sports memorabilia to support the organization’s mission.
For more than eight years, Community Lifestyle has been improving the lives of youth and teens through many signature programs such as their Free Summer Camp and Flag Football programs that support over 600 Hoboken children.
