The videos, which began circulating on social media last night, shows a man being pulled out of his vehicle after a minor traffic accident, despite making an effort to drive away.
The incident took place on Sunday morning near the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue and shows the man outnumbered at least five-to-one as he is repeatedly stomped and kicked while on the ground.
The victim appears to try to flee the scene before the incident leads to a violent encounter, but a woman opens the driver’s side door before punching him and a man then kicks his windshield in, one video of the incident shows.
The rowdy crowd finally begins to leave after the man appears completely defenseless and blood can be scene on the pavement, based on another cell phone video of the incident.
City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said that the JCPD are seeking to identify six persons of interest in connection to the incident.
“The Jersey City Police Department is working to identify several persons of interest in connection with an incident near MLK Drive and Orient Avenue where officers responded at approximately 2:50 a.m. on July 14th,” she said, noting that the six suspects are identified in the photo above.
“Anyone with information is asked to call the JCPD’s anonymous tip line at 201-547-JAIL.”
The-42-year-old victim was treated at a local hospital and has been released, Wallace-Scalcione added.
After looking at the pictures and reading the story, many people will comment in a predictable manner. This is not really allowed. You may think that you live in a nation that has freedom of speech, but stating what obviously happened here is enough to get yourself in trouble. The purpose of this censorship is not so much to hide the truth, but to make you afraid to speak and associate with like minded people. When people know the truth but are afraid to speak out, then it is easy to control them.
