Citing “the safety of our students and staff,” the Bayonne BOE announced about two hours that schools would again be closed tomorrow.
Yesterday, Mayor Jimmy Davis said in a statement that street sweeping has been suspended, as well as central lot meters, until further notice and asked residents to stay off the roads if possible.
The Weehawken public schools district also pointed to snow cleanup when explaining why students and faculty would be off tomorrow:
The West New York school district will also be off again tomorrow, as will the county schools: Hudson County Prep High School, High Tech High School and Explore 2000 Middle school, officials said this afternoon.
Additionally, the Jersey City Public Schools have announced a 90-minute delayed opening for Tuesday.
