The ice skating rink, located on West 28th St., will now offer testing Monday though Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and appointments can be made here. Additionally, those seeking a vaccine/booster appointment can click here.

Another testing site will be made available at the Bayonne Museum, located at 229 Broadway, on Thursdays between 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., as well as Sundays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The update came from the Bayonne Office of Emergency Management this afternoon, who said more testing was made available under the direction of Mayor Jimmy Davis as the latest statewide uptick involves the infectious Omicron variant.

Therefore, cases are on the rise, though hospitalizations and death remain relatively low in New Jersey, according to data provided by the state Department of Health.

The NJ DOH reports 756 new confirmed cases established via PCR testing on Monday after the holiday weekend.
