“The paper-based ExpressVote XL full-face Universal Voting System displays the full ballot on a 32-inch interactive screen and produces an independent voter-verifiable paper record,” their website says.

“The ExpressVote XL improves the Election Day experience for voters — allowing them to mark and tabulate their vote in one stop.”

After the first info session took place at 515 54th St. today, three more will be offered in the next two days, county officials confirmed. The session is hosted by the Hudson County Superintendent of Elections’ Office.

Tomorrow, May 3rd, two sessions will be held simultaneously between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. – one at 420 62nd St. and the other at 5800 Jefferson St.

Then, on Thursday, May 4th, there will be one final session between 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Parkview Towers, located at 5001-5104 Park Ave.

Additionally, early voting will take place Friday through Sunday at 5101 Park Ave. and 5800 Jefferson St. The polls sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

The Hudson County Clerk’s Office is also holding additional hours this Saturday, May 6th, where they will be accepting vote-by-mail applications for West New York and North Bergen between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

For all voters who wish to take advantage of this opportunity, a valid New Jersey-issued identification card (state, government, or local ID) that contains a photo, address, and signature is required and the address on the ID must match the voter’s ballot address.

The “Sires Team for West New York” led by former Mayor, Assembly Speaker, and Congressman Albio Sires is engaged in a head-to-head contest with the “West New York Forward” team, where Public Affairs Commissioner Cosmo Cirillo is leading the charge.
