6 caught with 7 guns, 17 kilos of fentanyl & heroin, after busts in Jersey City & Hoboken

Six people were caught with seven guns, 17 kilograms of fentanyl and heroin, as well as $20,000 cash and 2.5 kilograms of cocaine, after drug busts in Jersey City, Hoboken, Elizabeth, and Montclair, authorities said.

As part of the months-long investigation, various other illegal narcotics with a street value in excess of $15 million were recovered, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said in a statement.

Darryl Mobley, 37, and Erica Rivera-Mobley, 41, both of Montclair, are each charged with operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility (heroin/fentanyl), operating a CDS production facility (cocaine), multiple counts of possession of a weapon while committing a CDS offense, five counts of unlawful possession of a weapon (firearm), two counts of conspiracy to distribute (heroin/fentanyl), two counts of conspiracy to distribute (cocaine), possession with the intent to distribute (heroin/fentanyl), along with multiple other drug and weapons charges.

Marquis High, 34, of Hoboken, Anthony Crawford, 38, of Elizabeth, along with Darryl Love, 25, and Chad Robertson, 41, both of Jersey City, are each charged with possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, along with various other drug charges.

Additionally, Crawford and Love are each charged with money laundering, while Crawford Love, and Robertson are all accused of possession of heroin with the intent to distribute heroin.

Suarez credited the HCPO Narcotics Task Force and Hoboken Police Department with the investigation, with assistance from the Essex County Tactical Response Team, Union County SWAT, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office Crime Scene Unit, the Montclair Police Department, the Elizabeth Police Department, the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, and the Essex County K9 Unit, with the arrests.
