“The Harrison Police Department is actively investigating a missing juvenile and is requesting assistance from the public. Amanda Caldeira was reported missing by her mother, [Wednesday] around 2:30PM,” the Harrison PD wrote on Facebook.
“She is a light-skinned Hispanic female, approximately five feet tall, 90-100lbs, and has long black hair. She was last seen wearing a beige colored shirt, blue jeans, black backpack and she frequents Jersey City. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Harrison Police Department at 973-483-4102 or E-mail Detective Carr at bcarr@townofharrison.com.”
In a Facebook post this morning, Willian Caldeira Lucelia Santos, Amanda’s father, urged anyone with info to come forward, as well as that this situation is not a laughing matter.
“Please kids out there that know my daughter please say something if you know something don’t keep thinking this fun I’m suffering she might be in dangerous [sic] it’s been 5 days,” he wrote.
“Friday 1:30 am someone with young voice called me making terrible bad joking almost I had Heart attack my blood pressure went up I beg you Please who out there that know something please Help us find her and bring her home safe .”

My Prayers are with the family, Hod please bring her home to her family and friends Safely. DLB🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽😥keep the faith.😢❤️
I hope she’s found safe and sound.
Also, brazilians are not hispanic – so Amanda is not hispanic. Also, why say “ligh-skinned hispanic” instead of just white?
You’d have to talk to the Harrison PD about that, it was their Facebook post.
