HerreraPAC, a political action committee founded by former Bayonne city council candidate Daniel Herrera, has endorsed Larry Wainstein for mayor in North Bergen.

“I’m glad we have a Mayoral candidate that is standing up for the citizens of North Bergen.” Herrera said in an email. “Wainstein embraces change and understands that it’s time to take a new approach to governing. We happily support his candidacy for Mayor.â€
HerreraPAC is an independent political action committee which supports candidates, regardless of political parties, who want to scale back the size of government, lower taxes, support small business, and protect civil liberties, Herrera said.
Herrera is Republican, while Wainstein is a Democrat.
Wainstein and North Bergen Sacco have been feuding for years, but they have never met head-to-head in an election until now. The North Bergen municipal election takes place on May 12.
Although Wainstein has a full slate of candidates, HerreraPAC has previously endorsed Police Sgt. Henry Marrero for commissioner.

Es hora de que la ciudad de North Bergen tome un respiro de los polÃticos que por tantos años la han ahogado y una prueba de eso son los tres puestos que ostenta el acalde Sacco,por los cuales devenga salarios por mas de $200,000 al año, como una muestra de la corrupción imperante en la actual administración.
