An intoxicated man was arrested at Hudson Regional Hospital in Secaucus for punching an EMT shortly after he arrived at the hospital, Police Chief Dennis Miller announced.

On Wednesday, April 23rd at approximately 10:34 p.m., the Secaucus Police Department responded to Hudson Regional Hospital, located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway, on a report of an assault that occurred to an EMT, Miller said in a statement.
He was being transported by Union City EMS for being intoxicated, and upon arrival at HRH, he punched EMT, the police chief told HCV in an email.
During the investigation, the police arrested Orlando Zepeda, 56, of Union City, for aggravated assault and hindering apprehension for providing false information to the police.
He was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued by the Union County Sheriff’s Office with no bail.
As a result, Zepeda was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
