Traffic stop in Secaucus leads to Bronx duo being caught with cocaine, meth, & stolen IDs

The Secaucus Police Department stopped a Bronx duo who was driving a car with no license plates, ultimately discovering that were in possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and stolen IDs, Chief Dennis Miller said.

Yaszmin Arias, 25, of Bronx, New York, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (cocaine), possession of CDS (methamphetamine), and possession of false government documents, authorities said.

Miguel Arias, 35, of Bronx, New York was faces the same charges, along with possession of CDS (methamphetamine) with intent to distribute, possession of CDS (cocaine), possession of forgery devices, possession of drug paraphernalia, and receiving stolen property.

Miller told HCV that their that their vehicle was initially pulled over at around 2:57 a.m. yesterday for driving with no license plates.

Furthermore, Yaszmin Arias was also found to have one outstanding warrant issued out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail, which led to her being transported to the Hudson County Jail after processing.

As for Miguel Arias, he was served his complaint warrant, along with six motor vehicle summonses, before being subsequently transported to the Hudson County jail, Miller said.
