“Emily Jabbour is the clear choice for anyone who believes Hoboken streets should be safe, sustainable, and equitable for all residents,” StreetsPAC NJ Executive Director Kevin Bing said in a statement.

“She was a founding member of Hoboken’s Vision Zero Task Force and is committed to building on the city’s success in making Hoboken one of the safest cities in the country. StreetsPAC NJ enthusiastically endorses her for mayor.”

Jabbour is focused on the next phase of safe streets, stating her intention to prioritize the completion of the Green Circuit, a protected bike lane that provides a complete route around the perimeter of the city, noted Bing.

She has committed to improving public transit by advocating for increased investment in the HOP bus service, which would allow for more frequent shuttles and expanded hours, including weekends.

Jabbour will face off with 3rd Ward Councilman Mike Russo in the December 2nd runoff.

StreetsPAC is also backing Jersey City Ward E Councilman James Solomon against former Gov. Jim McGreevey in their mayoral runoff.
