Secaucus police bust one man, one woman for prostitution after traffic stop for broken headlight

The Secaucus Police Department busted one man and one woman on prostitution charges after a traffic stop for a broken headlight.

On November 16th at approximately 1:07 a.m., Secaucus police observed a vehicle stopped along the side of the on ramp from Paterson Plank Road onto Route 3 West, Police Chief Dennis Miller said.

The driver, Emmanuel Ojo-Powerson, 34, of Pocono Pines, PA, was approached by police for having a headlight out. During the stop, he admitted he was at the Extended Stay Hotel on Plaza Drive engaging in prostitution.

Officers went the hotel and located a woman, Crystal Hotlosz, 41, of Clairsville, Ohio, on prostitution charges as well. She was also charged with money laundering, Miller said.

Ojo-Powerson was issued his complaint summons, along with three motor vehicle
summonses, before being released from custody, while Hotlosz was served her
complaint summons and was released from custody, authorities said.
