A Jersey City man has been accused of sexually assaulting a nine-year-old girl back in 2019, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Nestor Moreno, 28, of Jersey City, is charged with sexual assault by contact and endangering the welfare of a child, Suarez said in a statement.
The crimes occurred on multiple occasions in Jersey City in 2019 when the victim, who is known to the defendant, was nine years old.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.
