“We believe that education is a powerful tool that can transform lives and communities and we are proud to offer this scholarship to support the education of local high schools seniors who may face unique financial challenges in pursuing their academic goals,” Paul Presinzano, a founding member of the foundation, said in a statement.

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must reside in Hoboken, attain a minimum of 2.75 GPA, and write a 250-plus word essay on “What Hoboken means to me.”

Interested students can apply by submitting an application before the deadline of June 1st. The selection committee will review all applications and announce the scholarship recipients by June 7, 2023.

“We encourage all eligible students to apply for this exciting scholarship opportunity,” added Presinzano, also a 1st Ward council candidate.

“This scholarship will provide not only financial support but also the chance to join a community of scholars who share a commitment to academic excellence and service to others.”

  1. Cant wait to vote for Paul. It will be good to have a Councilperson again in our ward!

    The current vacancy is unfortunate

  2. Thanks to Paul there’s hope for some representation

Defusco should donate his council salary and Air BnB profits back to the taxpayers he’s failed to represent and his chronic absences

He’s a total clown and is in default of his oath
