Heather Trautz, 45, of Hoboken, and Roberto Burgos, 36, of Jersey City, were each charged with theft of moveable property on Thursday, Mecka said in a statement.
On November 17th at approximately 4 p.m., police officers were dispatched to 13th and Willow Avenue on the possibility of an e-bike pinging to that location. The delivery person’s bike was reported stolen the day before in the area of 11th and Grand Streets.
As a result of the on-scene investigation, both Trautz and Burgos were placed under arrest.
Their charges were placed on a warrant, were processed, and then transported to Hudson County Correctional Facility, authorities said.
