Police Lt. Eric Amato confirmed over the phone that no one was injured as a result of shots fired, but that at least one other person was treated at the scene for an unrelated injury.

Amato also said that the shooter appeared to flee the scene in a vehicle that was parked in the City Line shopping center parking lot and head in the direction of Jersey City.

On Wednesday, Amato added that the shooting took place at approximately 1:24 p.m. and it appeared that only one shot was fired and no one was struck.

The incident remains under investigation.
