On Friday July 15th at about 14:14 p.m., the teenager was taken into custody from the area of 25th Street and Avenue C.

“Officers on patrol noticed the juvenile, a known gang member, acting in a suspicious manner. A stop of the juvenile led to a brief physical altercation which led to the discovery of two firearms on the juvenile’s person,” Amato noted.
