Michael Whittington, 59, of Bayonne, was charged with making terroristic threats on Sunday, Miller said in a statement.

Yesterday at approximately 2:40 p.m., Secaucus police responded to Hudson Regional Hospital, located at 55 Meadowlands Parkway, on a report of a man who was refusing to leave.

The man, later identified as Whittington, was allegedly unhappy with his treatment and threatened to shoot the nurse in the face with a 9mm handgun. No weapon was displayed, nor was any weapon seized, Miller told HCV.

Whittington was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
