Police: 2 Bayonne men, one an out-of-state fugitive, arrested for heroin possession

Two Bayonne men, one a fugitive from Connecticut, were arrested in the city for heroin possession earlier this week, police said.

Shaun Lucia, 43, of Bayonne, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin with 1,000 feet of a school and possession of heroin within 500 feet of a park, according to Police Lt. Janine Foy.

Stephen Flora, 28, also of Bayonne, was also hit with a possession of heroin charge and was found to be a fugitive out of Danbury, Connecticut, police said.

Both men were arrested near the area of 8th Street and Avenue C on Tuesday around at 9:40 p.m., authorities said.

Additionally, Lucia and Flora were each given a $50,000 bail, with a 10 percent cash option, Foy said.
