A 19-year-old North Bergen man has ben charged with possessing over 100 videos identified as child sex abuse material, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced.

Andrew Bastida, 19, of North Bergen, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child/possession of child sexual abuse material, Suarez said in a statement.
He was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and released pending his first court appearance, which is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, May 14th.
In April 2024, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received a cyber tip that child sexual abuse material was being stored on an online server.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined Bastida controlled the account and over 100 videos of child sexual abuse material were seized, authorities said.
