At least 10 outages in West New York have left over 7,000 PSE&G users without power this evening, according to their official website.
The outages, which occurred between 49th Street and 60th Street around 7:15 p.m., are expected to be repaired by about 9:15 p.m. – with a handful of cases that may take until early tomorrow morning to resolve – according to the latest power outage map provided by PSE&G.
The largest outage is near 49th Street and Broadway, impacting approximately 1,622 PSE&G users and causing the Hudson Bergen Light Rail to bypass the 49th Street stop in Union City.
Multiple outages have also been reported in Union City, though residents are already beginning to regain power after less than an hour in the dark.
Does it have anything to do with snapped power line on 1-9 by Carlton in jc?
99% sure that was the cause, will make sure in the morning.
