Dear Editor,

The Hudson County Republican Committee and its Chairman Jose Arango, congratulates President Donald J. Trump on his landslide re-election as the 47th President of the United States of America.

We thank Republican New Jersey Candidate for US Senate Curtis Bashaw for his strong campaign and consistent support of the Hudson County GOP.

We recognize the significant achievements by Republican Congressional Candidate for NJ District 8 Anthony Valdes of West New York in shifting District 8 by 20% toward the Republican party.

For the first time in decades, over one third of the vote has gone to the Republican candidate.

This is a clear and convincing message that the people of Hudson County and the United States of America have rejected the progressive socialist agenda of division and class/ethnic warfare and have instead overwhelming approved of the Republican message of prosperity, safety, and liberty.

We have seen first-hand how the people of Hudson County, especially among the Latino and Gen Z demographics are now accepting the Republican Party’s vision for a better future in historic numbers.

The Hudson County Republican Committee now looks forward to 2025 where we aim to win the Governorship, assembly races, and key mayoral races in Hudson County.

All are welcome in the modern Republican big tent party.

Jose Arango, Hudson County Republican Committee Chairman
Pavel Sokolov, Hudson County Republican Committee Executive Director
Anthony Valdes, Republican Candidate for NJ District 8

  1. It’s pretty obvious that the Democratic Party has been completely infiltrated by the intellectual lunacy of the academic post-modernist movement. This is a big deal because the key premise of this is that there is no such thing as objective reality, and that there has never been such a thing as objective reality.

They cannot tolerate rational critical thinking. What I am saying is not political hyperbole. That is why progressives cannot define what a woman is, why they believe that there are endless numbers of genders, and why they get lost in lunatic ideas that no one in their right mind would ever tolerate. Also, lawfare unleashed on the Democrat’s opponents was and is devastating to the Democrats. They are seen as incompetent intolerant ideological bound idiots.

Good riddance Kamala and that goofball Waltz.

  2. Must recognize and congratulate you for the hard work and the results, particularly in North Hudson.

  4. To Arrango, Sokolov, and Valdes (Oh My):

Your candidate did not win in Hudson County, however you try to spin Trump’s improved showing in Our County. Just as Trump was punished by the voters – he lost the popular vote in 2020 by 7 million – 4 years ago, mainly for his woeful and unscientific response to the COVID pandemic that he downplayed to his and our expense, the (Biden) Harris Administration was punished by a majority of voters nationally for persistent high prices of food and other important items, as well as for having realized, too late in this campaign that the border crisis was a significant issue for many Americans.

While it must be acknowledged that the National Republican Party has won a decisive victory, winning not only the crucial electoral votes, but the popular vote as well, winning the Senate, and holding on to the House of Representatives, and that some of your pride is certainly justified, don’t let the false elements of your thinking in this matter, nor the many falsehoods you have shared amongst yourselves and with the Hudson County View Readership in this published letter consume you and your Grand Old Party, which they will, if you continue ape your Party’s Standard Bearer, Donald Trump in agreeing with his Legion of Lies, as you now spin more fabrications here because you feel his win emboldens you to do so.
Your characterization of Trump’s 2024 election win as a ‘landslide’ is flat out wrong. Not even President Clinton’s, nor President Obama’s 4 collective wins, which all decisively dwarf this election win, were landslides. The last landslide win was by George Herbert Walker Bush in 1988, where he defeated Michael Dukakis by nearly 8 percentage points, but more significantly, defeated him by 4-1 in the Electoral College. FDR’s four wins were landslide wins, as were Eisenhower’s two wins, LBJ’s 1964 win, Nixon’s 1972 re-election, and Reagan’s wins in 1980 and 1984.

When you ‘go to the well’ as you’ve done in this letter too many times with disinformation designed to confuse and manipulate the typical voter, you subject yourselves and your Republican Party from be burned by an angry electorate who has been burned by your misinformation as well as Trump’s track record.

At the top of this list is the 2020 election denial from Trump that the three of you have done little, if any, to refute, to include Trump’s demonstrated dangerous actions in attempting to enlist Mike Pence to enable his January 6th 2021 illegal attempts to refute the Will of the 2020 voter and stay in office. You say nothing about the law enforcement officers who died as a result?! You say nothing about Trump’s demonstrated attempt to shake down the Georgia Republican Secretary of State for the 11,000 plus deficit that he lost to Biden in Georgia? In contrast to your 2020 sore loser, When Hillary lost to Trump in 2016 she called him THAT NIGHT to congratulate him and publicly conceded the next day. Trump did not have the decency, nor the moral courage to do the same in 2020 WHEN HE LOST. Kamala Harris called up Trump THE NEXT DAY to congratulate him and publicly concede her loss. That is what losers with backbone do.

To your other lies and misinformation in this letter, it is Trump and your Republican Party that sows division of class and economic warfare. While I have to acknowledge that Abraham Lincoln, a Republican, was by far and away our best President, having kept our Country whole through its worst war, the Civil War, the Republican Party has, from its inception, favored the wealthy class over all other classes of Americans. Since then, Republican Tax cuts have skewed in favor of the wealthy, at the expense of all other classes. Trump was no different in his first term, and now, because this will Constitutionally be his last term, and he now has both houses of Congress, he will restore his 2017 tax cuts that overwhelmingly favor the wealthy at all others’ expense, and he will explode the deficit ( of which he increased the size of at a greater level that did Biden.)

It is Trump who has fostered ethnic warfare, not Biden/Harris. At that infamous rally in Virginia where KKK and neo-Nazi protestors were spouting racial and ethnic hatred, causing a counter demonstrator to lose her life, Trump very infamously said “..there were good people on both sides.” It was the INACTION OF TRUMP’s JUSTICE DEPARTMENT or Trump himself, to address the murder of George Floyd in Minnesota, that caused anger of more than a few who have been historically oppressed by elements of American Society now represented by Trump and his supporters, to swell and react with anger and violence.

Many Latinos ( and non-Latinos) have benefited from numerous food distributions by the Town of West New York and other Hudson County Municipalities as well as Churches of numerous denominations, made possible by Federal, bi-partisan funding initiated and executed during the Biden Administration. This will now dry up, now because Trump now considers his rich millionaire and billionaire supporters more worthy of unneeded tax cuts for them at the expense of his poor constituents who will now starve. I hope Mr. Arrango and Mr. Valdes can look yourselves in the mirror as millions of your ethnic brothers and sisters will now be deported. Just a little secret to you, Mr. Valdes: it was not the less that 10,000 dollars you received in campaign donations, nor the less than 5,000 dollars of it that you spent on your campaign at that brought you over the 33% threshold than none of Congressman Albio Sires’ Republican challengers ever received. That was only driven by your embrace of a narcissist, your willing deception at his hands, and your promotion of his lies.

    • Look who is championing the anti-American actions of Biden-Harris with the border sabotage and an invasion of illegals plus the disgusting “mandate” for a failed killer Big Pharma gene therapy experiment on Americans. People are still dying from it!

George Floyd died of a drug overdose. He had no physical life-threatening injury. He swallowed his drugs to escape police detection.

Then you repeat the same edited Charlottesville Hoax. You’re in no position to lecture anyone. What a moron!

    • You raise valid points

What if the GOP vote was IN SPITE OF Trump, meaning the Republicans would’ve gotten even more votes if he didn’t do all these things?

Even so, in your area Latinos are 80% of the population. Since your elected officials are Latino Democrats (Menendez, Sites, etc on down), let’s ask the question: if you’re a Latino elected official and you can’t even deliver your own ethnic group, then exactly what good are you?

  5. It is a great shame that so many of you woefully low-information voters swallowed or ignored Trump’s Legion of lies and hitched your wagon to his falling star, at your peril, my peril, and our Nation’s peril. You are extremely selfish and very near-sighted, and it shows.
