In a letter to the editor, Bayonne Board of Education Trustee Mikel Lawandy endorsed his colleague Denis Wilbeck for re-election.
Dear editor,
Mr. Denis Wilbeck is a former vice principal, teacher, U.S. Army Veteran, and one of the first elected officials in over 35 years to serve on the Bayonne Board of Education.
Mr. Wilbeck is not only a husband, father of three children, and a grandfather of six, but also a person who advocates for students, teachers, taxpayers, and for Bayonne.
It is an honor to serve as a Bayonne Board of Education Trustee alongside Mr. Denis F. Wilbeck, which is why I am endorsing him for another three-year term.
