The Kearny Police Department is seeking the public’s help after three people were shot at a party at the Vermella East apartment complex early Monday morning.

The shooting that occurred around 1 a.m. yesterday, at Vermella East, and the three victims sustained non-life threatening injuries, the Kearny PD said in a Facebook post.
“The incident was contained within a single apartment. Preliminary investigation indicates that this was not a random act of violence. There appears to be some level of association among the individuals involved, although the extent of their acquaintance is yet to be determined,” the department also said.
