“We are thrilled to celebrate the unwavering resilience of the families we serve and the incredible partners who make our mission possible,” York Street Project Executive Director Susanne Byrne said in a statement.

“This evening is about coming together as a community to inspire change and foster hope for a brighter future.”

At the March 27th event, which begins at 6 p.m., the organization will recognize BNY, The Exchange Place Alliance, and Genevieve Appel for their dedication and significant contributions as pillars of hope for families in need.

These honorees have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to York Street Project, strengthening the Jersey City community through service, volunteerism, philanthropy, and advocacy, according to an announcement from the group.

The gala will also feature a powerful performance by the New Jersey Symphony, with a special poetic accompaniment by Jersey City Poet Laureate Melida Rodas.

Proceeds from the gala will directly support York Street Project’s comprehensive programs that include sheltering, feeding and caring for women, children and families in need.
