“SUPER excited to announce our office opening this Sunday! We’ll be open from 10 am to 2 pm. Stop by and say hello!” Ali wrote in an Instagram post.
A former board of education president, Harvard graduate, and cancer survivor, Ali filed to run for the non-partisan November 4th, 2025 mayoral race in April.
While the race is still over a year away, candidates have been emerging rapidly with Mayor Steven Fulop running for governor instead fo seeking a fourth term.
Former Gov. Jim McGreevey, Hudson County Commissioner Bill O’Dea (D-2), and Council President Joyce Watterman have all declared, with Ward E Councilman James Solomon expected to enter the fray later this month, as HCV first reported.

All of these candidates the only one is worth being mayor is the old governor he can do the job
