Hudson Regional Hospital’s Institute for Robotic Surgery is offering hernia patients who need surgery a faster recovery option that also has less recurrences.

OviTex reconstruction material, a more natural alternative to the synthetic mesh, has been shown to restore quality of life after surgery with less chance of needing corrective surgery to remove the mesh.
The Institute of Robotic Surgery is the leading hospital in the tri-state area for robotic hernia surgery, and Chief of Surgery Maurizio Miglietta, DO, FACOS is the first and only surgeon in New Jersey to use this most advanced hernia treatment option.
