Hudson County Sheriff’s Office arrests 28 during latest warrants sweep

The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28 people during their latest countywide warrants sweep, Sheriff Frank Schillari announced.

“As law enforcement officers, it is our duty to ensure that those who break the law are held accountable for their actions, and the success of this warrant sweep demonstrates our unwavering commitment to keeping our communities safe and bringing justice to those who have been victimized,” Schillari said in a statement.

“We will continue to work tirelessly to bring closure to these cases and prevent future criminal activity.”

A list of the 28 suspects arrested during the warrant sweep (as well as their offenses) is below:

Murder

Nyshiem 0. Inmon, 25, of Inwood, New York, was charged with purposely causing death, two counts of robbery by force, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, aggravated assault, criminal attempt, and conspiracy with multiple objectives

Kidnapping

A Newark man, 32, not identified, was charged with kidnapping and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose

Aggravated Assault

A Bayonne man, 49, not identified

Desiree N. Stephens, 37, of Newark, was charged with a violation of monitoring regarding an aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking, and terroristic threats, and terroristic threats.

Dionisio A. Querques, 33, of East Orange

Criminal Sexual Contact

Andrew M. Lynn, 36, of Newark, was charged with a  violation of monitoring regarding a Criminal Sexual Contact

Child Neglect

A Bayonne man, 37, not identified

Robbery

Angel R. Fragoso, 22, of Jersey City, was charged with violation of monitoring regarding a robbery, also a violation of probation

Resisting Arrest

Jaliyl Johnson, 20, of Jersey City, was charged with violation of monitoring regarding resisting arrest

Lawrence Browning, 42, of Staten Island, New York, was charged with violation of monitoring regarding resisting arrest/eluding

Burglary

Branden Watson, 30, of Bayonne

Tony Do, 28, of Jersey City,

A Kearny man, 53, not identified, was charged with burglary, burglary by entering a structure, contempt of court order, and harassment

Theft

Albert Guzman, 58, of Jersey City, was charged with violation of monitoring regarding three counts of theft by unlawful taking

Ricky Matos, 23, of Kearny, was charged with credit card theft

Asif Z. Farouk, 20, of Newark, was charged with theft by unlawful taking of moveable property

Alisha Boursiquot, 24, of Union, was charged with credit card theft

Receiving Stolen Property

Garrett Williams, 34, of Sommerville

Unlawful Possession of a Weapon:

Isaiah T. Caston, 27, of Jersey City

Simple Assault

Bayonne man, 20, not identified

Criminal Mischief

Matthew C. Stepniak, 28, of Jersey City, was charged with criminal mischief and threatening to commit a crime

Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance:

Michael K. Gunn, 43, of Bayonne,

Martin Kirk, 65, of Bayonne, was charged with  violation of monitoring regarding two counts of possession of CDS

Fugitive From Justice

Darnell Brown, 43, of Union City

Kasean P. Ross, 42, of lrvington, was a fugitive from North Carolina, along with manufacturing and distribution of CDS, and hindering

Failure to Pay Child Support

John G. Stein, 54, of Bayonne ($89,569.73)

Sharone Johnson, 46, of Bayonne

Violation of Probation

Makeber L. Gantt, 49, of Jersey City
