“I am deeply humbled by the overwhelming support we’ve received from every corner of Hudson County,” Dublin said in a statement.

“This was a grassroots effort led by volunteers who support the work we are doing in the Register’s Office and who believe in honest, open government that delivers for the people, which is something I will always fight hard to deliver.”

The collection of over 1,000 signatures was the result of a coordinated grassroots effort involving volunteers, community leaders, and local residents.

Dublin, who has served as Register since 2022, noted that the momentum behind this filing reflects a public desire for continued stability and modernization within the register’s office. He is now seeking a second five-year term.

During his tenure, Dublin has been credited with streamlining the recording of land titles and property records, making the office more accessible to the public through digital initiatives. His campaign for re-election focuses on:

• Furthering Digital Integration: Enhancing online portals for easier document retrieval.

• Public Advocacy: Protecting homeowners against property fraud.

• Fiscal Responsibility: Maintaining high-level service while being mindful of the county budget.

The incumbent has been endorsed by several other local elected including Jersey City Mayor James Solomon, state Senator (D-33)/Union City Mayor Brian Stack, County Executive Craig Guy, County Commissioner Bill O’Dea (D-2), as well as all 10 other Hudson County mayors.

300 valid petitions of nomination are due by the filing deadline of March 23rd by 4 p.m.
