“The Vision Zero Action Plan is an important step in eliminating deaths and serious injuries on our roadways, and it’s important that as we develop this plan, the communities that will be helped by this initiative have a voice,” Guy said in a statement.

“During these public meetings, Hudson County looks forward to hearing your thoughts on the initiative and our strategies to prioritize mobility for all roadway users in Hudson County, making our streets safer for everyone.”

During these meetings, county staff will be on-hand to highlight Vision Zero outreach efforts, provide briefings on the latest updates, and answer any questions regarding the initiative.

The first meeting will be the virtual one, which will run from approximately 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m., with those interested in attending able to register here.

Then on Wednesday, between 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., a meeting will be held at the Harrison Recreation & Community Center, located at 401 Warren St.

Additionally, county staff will come to Hudson County Community College’s North Campus, located at 4800 John F. Kennedy Blvd. in Union City, on Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

The fourth and final meeting will take place on Thursday, October 24th, at the Woodrow Wilson Community School, located at 101 W 56th St., between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

For the three meetings being conducted in person, registration is encouraged but not required and potential attendees can sign up here.

  1. maybe Stack can add even more speed bumps in that town – jeeze! they are so high they damage your car at even 10mph. Not all of us are chauffeured around in a sweet $80,000 government SUV with high clearance.

  2. Maybe with this plan, the police can actually do their jobs as trained instead of managing road work and closing down of construction sites, as brian stack has them do
