On Monday at approximately 6:12 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 2nd and Jackson Street to speak with an alleged victim of sexual contact, according to Det. Lt. Edgardo Cruz.

The victim said she was making her way to the Sky Club Gym, located at 125 Marshall St., when she was approached from behind by an unknown male. The male, who the victim said was wearing a green, hooded Sweatshirt and Khaki pants, slapped her on the buttocks several times before fleeing the area, authorities said.

He was last seen by the victim fleeing south on Jackson Street and possibly meeting with another male who was described as wearing a bright red jacket. The male in the above photo fits the initial description given by the victim, officials said.

Police detectives were able to also determine that the suspect was wearing dark sneakers with stripes on the side, a hooded jacket with fur on collar and glasses, police said.

Anyone who may have been in the area during that time is asked to contact Det. Christine Collins with any information they can provide.

She can be reached at collinsc@hobokenpd.org or 201-420-2113 and all information will be kept confidential.

  1. His name was given to the detective and it was never followed up. This pervert will continue to walk the streets and will probably do worse next time thanks to the detective in charge of this case.
