The unknown woman, who is believed to be of Italian descent and around 65 years old, may suffer from dementia and cannot remember her pedigree, which is necessary for her to receive proper treatment, the City of Hoboken announced on social media this evening.

She advised the Hoboken University Medical Center that her name could be Mary Ford with a possible date of birth of September 22 in either 1950, 1951 or 1961, officials said.

According to a flyer being distributed by Hoboken police, the woman “is very sick” has been in the hospital for 40 days. Without proper treatment, her condition will be terminal, authorities said.

She is also said to weigh around 100 pounds and stand a little over five feet tall and is believed to be homeless, though she may have lived in North Bergen at one point.

Please call the Hoboken Police Department at 201-420-2100 or Hoboken University Medical Center at 201-418-1336 if you have any information regarding this patient.

  1. How sad . why are they not giving her treatment? the hospitals are suppose to heal people not let them stay in the condition they are in because they do not have insurance, how sad is that!

  2. Actually, Alice you’re on the wrong path. First of all it’s illegal for them to not treat her if she doesn’t have insurance, and they’ve housed her for 40 days. However I am sure they don’t know any allergies she may have so they can’t just go ahead and give her anything. Hence why they need more info
